Scouts BSA
Troop 34 Yorkville, IL
For over 75 years, Troop 34 has been dedicated to shaping the leaders of tomorrow, fostering character, community service, and intellectual growth in countless youth. Our program, Scouts BSA, empowers young people to develop essential outdoor survival skills, self-confidence, and strong ethical principles through youth-planned activities focused on service, community engagement, and leadership.
Unlike Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA is led by elected youth, with guidance from the Scoutmaster and adult leaders, allowing them to truly take ownership of their experience. Through activities like hiking, camping, and canoeing, Scouts explore their interests, earn merit badges, and strive toward the prestigious Eagle Scout rank.
By instilling the values of the Scout Oath and Law, Troop 34 prepares youth to make ethical and moral choices throughout their lives, experiencing the rewarding thrill of hard work and achievement.
